Where can I find .... MARKET GOODIES?

Hello all!

Since I’m in the land of pearls, can anyone recommend a decently-priced pearl market (or merchant)? I have a favorite pair of shoes, and sadly they’re on their last leg. Any recommendations where I can get shoes made? I’ve heard you can do this at the Souks. No idea where though.

And finally, I’m looking for leather … do leather boutiques (markets) here exist? Or is the climate too severe to wear leather (i.e. jackets, etc)?
