Where can I find a GREAT tailor and where to buy good shampoo??
Hi Gang,
I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have heard rumblings that there are some amazing women's tailors in town, particularly the souqs area.
Does anyone have any recommendations? Places where they can like make clothes from skratch... And, not to be too demanding, but I don't know the name of any streets, so vivid directions are appreciated.
Also, I know you can get lots of brands of shampoo at the Carefour and those kinds of places, but where can I buy like salon quality brands? I am particularly looking for Redkin, those kinds of things.

You wont find skilled (labour) people here...
Some come here as a expert plumber & return as a carpenter.
Some come here as an expert Computer technitian & turn out to be a A/C mechanic.
Some come here as a expert cook & turn out to be a office boy
Some come here as a office boy & turn out to be a cook. Sometimes the above two in the same office.
So on and so forth.......
You might get your work done but dont expect it to be perfect.
Blame it on the visa ristriction? Maybe?

Otherwise, I think you can check with your hairdresser. Mostly, if they do not have it, they can order it for you from their supplier.
About tailors...hmm, tough case.
Try the Franck Provost salon in the Four Seasons hotel, you can find Kerastase there.
For shampoo try the Blue Salon.
