What do you feel like eating in this weather. I feel like eating some hot and spicy kababs.

I cooked vegan pasta for lunch.

1 medium brown onion

1 – 2 cloves of garlic

2 – 3 sticks celery

1 large carrot

1 large or 2 small zucchini (courgettes)

half a small capsicum. Green or red

1 bottle store-bought passata sauce.

olive oil for cooking

Cheese on toast.

Always a winner whatever the weather. Note that the cheese must be of the mature cheddar variety and the bread should be a granary loaf.

had lunch at gf's hse and she made cantonese seafood with noodles it was awesome . for dinner i am gonna cook cantonese roasted chicken with rice >(chicken is being marinated btw before i put in to roast):O)

life's too short so make the most of it, you only live but once.......

(1) Pasta (farfalle) with home made tomato sauce (fresh grated tomato instead of canned one) and Grana Padano parmesan cheese.

(2) Fried Sultan Ibrahim fish

(3) Delicious home made mousaka

(4) Home made potato puree

(5) Tomato, lettuce, cucumber and feta cheese salad

(6) Raw red cabbage with lemon salad

(7) Banana

(8) Peach

The canteen at our construction site is very good!

Black truffle soup, Foie gras with leeks, caviar with creme fraiche, buttered asparagus, mutton rogangosh, tiramisu.....NONE OF THESE. Just a humble bread and veggie.

just ate some peanut butter strawberry sandwich and cup of noodles...later im thinking of a hefty dinner..:P

Serving 6 to 8 persons.

1. One Kilo Beef (Ribeye or Tenderloin)

2. Two large Onions sliced in rings.

3. Two medium potatoes sliced 1/4" thick.

4. Four tablespoons full Vinegar

5. Four table spoons full of Course Ground Black Pepper

6. Salt to taste.

7. Curry leaves (Karapincha)

8. Four bulbs of Chopped Garlic. (Optional)

Preparations.

1. Slice the Beef into thin large size pieces, wash and leave to drip. Add the vinegar, Black pepper and salt leave for one hour to marinate.

2. Place skillet, Vok or deep frying pan with about 3 table spoons of cooking oil on medium heat fire.

3. Place the marinated beef into pan and gently turn over until the beef has been coated all through and sealed in the heated oil, (two minutes would do).

4. Add in the garlic, Curry leaves and sliced potatoes and let it cook until the Meat is tender. (Keep Covered while it cooks)

5, Reduce the heat and place the onion rings on top. Keep covered and let it cook for a further 3 to 5 minutes.

Serve with Rice, Bread, Hoppers, or Roty.
