I agree Israel would better suited to a secular constitution that protects the rights all.

Hagannah was there long time before the UN establishment of Israel in 1948 and killing of Palestinians was systematic under the British mandate ,prior to that Jewish community was living in Palestine alongside Christians and Muslims. I think one secular state solution is more feasible than a two state solution.

This Rabbi sums it up very well

xxc, they don't kill Palestinian people out of nothing, they defend themselves. Could you please remind me who started the war right after Israel was established as a state, Palestine or Israel?

Well Israel was regularly in the news on Al Jazeera till the end of 2010 until it sunk in and was realized that there were more problems within the Arab countries themselves and they also realized that by blaming Israel and everybody else all the time they would not be getting their problems solved back home

Israel in the past was a word used for a group of people. as well as palestine. the land was invaded by muslim armies and the same people who are mixed between palestinians and israelians became muslims by force. Palestenians were christians and israelians were jewish. but as the time passed all jewish left the area and after hundred of years they wanted to come back to live in their original land which is a right as well for the palestenian. i agree. but its not the right way to invade the area and kill people. they must live together in the same country. they have equal rights at the best because palestenians did not leave their area for decades... they choosed to stay.

Err I think you will find Israel did exist in the past before the lands were invaded by the Muslim armies. However that was no excuse for them to come back and displace the people living there

well because israel did not exist in the past. the jewish came back to palesting from the over the world to invade palestine and make their own country. its like a stranger who invade ur home and wants to kick u out. israel is always on the news because they are breaking laws, killing plestenians on a daily basis. do not forget their problems with lebanon as well and syria.

Actually I hardly hear about Israel in the news. Maybe it's got to do with your fascination of the country that you keep hearing about Israel.
