I never quite figured out why the sexual urge of men and women differ so much. And I never have figured out the whole Venus and Mars thing. I have never figured

FOR EXAMPLE: One evening last week, my girlfriend and I were getting into bed. Well, the passion starts to heat up, and she eventually says "I don't feel likeit, I just want you to hold me." I said "WHAT??!! What was that?!" So she says the words that every boyfriend on the planet dreads to hear…

"You're just not in touch with my emotional needs as a woman enough for me to satisfy your physical needs as a man." She responded to my puzzled look by saying,

Realizing that nothing was going to happen that night, I went to sleep.

The very next day I opted to take the day off of work to spend time with her. We went out to a nice lunch and then went shopping at a big, big unnamed department store. I walked around with her while she tried on several different very expensive outfits. She couldn't decide which one to take so I told her we'd just buy them all. She wanted new shoes to compliment her new clothes, so I said lets get a pair for each  outfit. We went onto the jewelry department where she picked out a pair of diamond earrings. Let me tell you…she was so excited. She must have thought I was one wave short of a shipwreck. I started to think she  was testing me because she asked for a tennis bracelet when she doesn't even know how to play tennis. I thinkI threw her for a loop when I said, "That's fine,honey."

She was almost nearing sexual satisfaction from all of the excitement.

Smiling with excited anticipation she finally said, "I think this is all dear, let's go to the cashier."

I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, "No honey, I don't feel like it."

Her face just went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled "WHAT?"

I then said "honey! I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while. You're just not in touch with my financial needs as a man enough for me to satisfy your

shopping needs as a woman." And just when she had this look like she was going to kill me, I added, "Why can't you just love me for who I am and not for the

things I buy you?"

Apparently I'm not having sex tonight either.

on  a real note though.. I dated alot before marriage.. Some really hot guys ;) too! And for all the lovely and fancy cars I was allowed to drive I never felt happy until I met my husband. I saw one girl in that same restaurant/bar who was out on a date with this guy...the guy walks out to the car to get something and this other fella comes up and she starts flirting with him..when the "date" came back..it was back to smooching on him...then he goes to the toilet...and ANOTHER guy comes up and she leaves with him...NOW you know why we had such an interesting time watching the bar scene...it was basically free entertainment!!

only problem was the dancefloor was carpeted!! Was funny..only the people who REALLY knew how to dance could spin in circles...but even so..made your thighs hurt trying not to trip over the carpet...but...was a BLAST!!!  I actually think I saw two people who used to go to the dance hall I met my husband at in Texas...small world!!

depends on what you are looking for in music and crowds tho...I personally like Orions, The Library and Palomas (for dancing) But they are in dire need of a country western club here for dancing!!! sighhhh  Went to a boot scoot night before last and danced my silly feet off!!

I am not a groaning, moaning, gluey, selfish, whining crying female.  I am a mature female that knows when she has a good man and wants to keep him.  I need my space as much as he does, but when it comes down to being together I love that too.

Restaurants are a great place to meet people..so are dance halls..which is where I met my husband of 27 years. I meant as a general rule, bars aren't the best place to meet someone you want to spend the rest of your life with. To me there is a HUGE difference in a bar and a pub. I know..semantics..but there is. Especially in different countries such as England and America. I am speaking from being in both...and observing the crowds in both. In fact, my old roomie and I used to take up residence at a table at a fancy restaurant/bar, once or twice a week, just to watch the scenarios play out on who was hitting on whom, how many folks we'd seen them leave with...We were there so often having dinner and entertainment that the manager would give us free drinks because we entertained HER with our running commentaries on the bar scene.

but i think it also depends on the woman.. I mean, most of the guys are afraid of dependant woman, who cannot make one step without the guy, who gets stuck to the guy, glued to him, who doesn't let him to breath, who try to control his life.. but if the girl is independant and self-sufficient, then the guy is the one who gets stuck to the girl.. and sometimes it takes time and efforts to get rid of him...lol..

I must be doing something wrong, I have never really gone shopping for a woman, it always just seemed to happen whether it was "love" or lust, alcohol induced or "love at first sight" it just plain happened.

Maybe I need to make a shopping list or carry Barbi with me so I can make comparisons. They need to put stickers on their "bumpers" sort of like a dealers sticker for automobiles.
