What price loyalty ?

What has happened to "loyalty" in the workplace or to another ?

Wayne "Shrek" Rooney has said that he wants to leave Manchester United. A slap in the face of the man (Fergie) who treated him like a son and helped him through his immature days...

Sad day indeed :O(

Too many rumours..

First thing.... Get rid of Rooney in January.

Then buy a couple of real playmakers to replace Rooney and Giggs.. plus ofcourse a mobile central defender.

to his God Father? must have paid in those years of grooming.

Time to move with changing environment, at working places even Bosses knows that LOYALTY no more exist :(

Only commercial mutual interest persist between employee and employer relationship!

He can't leave without going past Liverpool.

GodFather.

Fergies should have gone the first time around when he said he would go.

Man U need to find his successor soon otherwise they could also turn in to another Liverpool :(

There are wider issues here..

Giggs, Scholes, Ferdinand, Nevile, Van der Sar are all coming to the end of their careers. United are not playing well. Yesterday was the first time ever that Fergie has spoken about being hurt.

Does this mean , that Fergie's reign is coming to an end ?

United didn't look like champions this season anyway so it's better he chose to leave them now.

Will we see a Chelsea vs City battle for the title :(

I hope he goes to Chelski rather than City... him and cashley should get on like a house on fire.

THe way he's been playing lately, and the emergence of the Berb/Chicharito partnership, I'll be glad to see the back of him. Now which United shirt do I buy next. I have Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez ... :o(

You make a valid point. However, you must also look at what United have done for Rooney.

In answer to your question. Where a company treated me like one of the family, I stayed loyal to them.

The same fergie threw a boot at Beckham. The old cobbler should call it a day and leave the boys alone..:)

This is interesting about Shrek. When Sir Alex started out, as a manager he used to talk to a player's parents. Now it is all done through agents as Sir A pointed out.

Anyway I hope he gets a better looking replacement and not someone like cro-magnon boy Tevez :)
