What if the ME hired more Chinese expats?

What would the Middle East look like if they hired a hell lot of Chinese expat workforce rather than Indian or Arabs?

I mean they do possess some of the Western-accredited technologies now plus they do have a lot of population that can also push the same strong manpower and credibility towards building Persian Gulf nations.

Well said Vignale.

The Chinese would never accept the living conditions here that are normal for South Asians.

There are plenty of opportunities in China for them - why would they come here?

The Chinese would not approve of the Standard of the Camps here. I am certain that it would have been major Riots if the Chinese had been living there. Chinese know one thing, that if they are together they are strong.

Lack of any English is a problem but a lot of them have the skills however the Arabs are probably not too keen given the Chineses track record in Africa. They promised to train locals and give them employment but instead the Chinese companies imported more and more Chinese to do the work. The locals in Africa felt excluded as most of the work was conducted in one of the Chinese languages. Plus you invite the Chinese you invite the Chinese govt..... and they have a lot of power these days....
