I don't get it if these points don't serve a purpose why do the website even have this kind of option. . This seems some serious kind of web application error. . I am trolled. :D

As I joined recently to QL I am noticing a lot of people just posting to get points, I am not aware about the backend application OR if the portal owner is working on a further development in the background (which is not an easy job) I suggest to have a voting system on how the post related to the question and if vistros got benefited from it, by this will eliminate the problem of having a debate or whole book story posted in one line question, what I meant is to have a focused topics in the forum without diverting to non related things in the same post.

Cheers...

Divide your points by the number of days you have been a QL member. The number you get shows how idle you have been at work thus the level of job dis-satisfaction.

Also, if you are logging in from home, this shows how much you are missing out on the social front.

I guess it's a great indicator of how unhappy you are in Qatar..

i kinda agree with u on this ahmer , instead of points ... thy can show a credibility bar kinda thing , so other members know the member is with QL for longer period of time, never get banned , active and his/her advice COULD be trusted or atleast sensible .... but then again we cannot apply to all..... :-)

I've been told that you can exchange every 10,000 point with a free drink or Trip to C-line beach (Transportation included)

:O(

Its going away . . . let the moderator answer this.

We all just want to be a part by supporting others, sharing views, passing time not to be bored, making someone smile with funny comments/jokes imbibing freshness in them, etc.

Who cares about points, we are a community from our places joining with others in doha ending-up sharing for love and love-fight; offcourse sometime serious.

Qatar Living points are collected every time a user contributes to the site in form of:

- starting a thread

- commenting

- answer a question

- posting a restaurant or a review

- etc.

These points essentially represent how active a user is in the community.

For clarity's sake, points do not represent any monetary value i.e. they cannot be exchanged for cash at any point.
