Yeh, probably not a good idea...I took a guy home who was 17 years older then me when I was in my early 20's, and thought my father was going to keel over...LOL...never again!!

By Gypsy• 10 Jul 2007 14:55
Gypsy

I was joking about the wrinkly old man bits Scorpio :D, but I guess I just wouldn't feel comfortable bringing home someone 15 years older then me to meet my family.

they just picked me! ;-)

Seriously, I want a guy who can really rock my world, funny, intellectually challenging, physically attractive and ":a guy whom my soul can be really naked with!" ----> (metaphor) for those dirty minded, lol!

Morning

Cheers!

I guess everyone is different, but I believe that age isn't a factor when it comes to love.

My best friend is with a guy 15 years older then her, and I have never seen a happier couple in my life. He treats her as a equal and never as a baby or daughter. I'm sure some men do, they are they ones we all want to avoid..LOL...

hmm....wrinkly old man bits....guess it depends on what age your talking about!!

By Gypsy• 10 Jul 2007 02:48
Gypsy

Scorpio, age is a factor because I find in a relationship with a much older man that they end up treating you like a baby or a daughter. I don't like that. Also I'm not into wrinkly old man bits.

A man with s sense of humor, knows how to have fun, not too gentlemanly but not too brusque. Knows how to treat a lady and please his woman. Confident but not vain. Smart, witty and thoughtful. A little dash of romanticism in him completes the package for me.

Honestly, I got him ALREADY...(*smiles to self)

but I still meet some guys who are so good to bring home to meet my mother...too bad I'm committed already.

By Scorpio• 10 Jul 2007 02:04
Scorpio

This will sound tacky to most, but my husband...he has it all...great sense of humour, hates sport, hates male macho idiots, is witty, passionate, romantic (I get flowers at least once a fortnight), very intelligent, charismatic, fun, loyal, sexy, very wild at times...oh and sarcastic....

I'm soooo glad you didn't meet my husband before I did !!! You summed it up in one.

I don't usually do 'sick bag, finger down the throat, yukky schmalz' but .. just for you, on this ONE occasion

that was sooooooooo RIGHT !

By Scorpio• 10 Jul 2007 01:53
Scorpio

I'm surprised age is a factor for you...

By Gypsy• 10 Jul 2007 00:37
Gypsy

I don't know about others, I'm really a bit picky.

I want a guy who has a great sense of humor and more importantly understands mine, I want one who isn't overweight, Can take care of himself financially (not me, just himself), likes to travel, wants kids, likes animals. Someone I can talk to, so is into some of the same things I am. Does not treat me like I'm an idiot or dumber then he is and doesn't act dumber then I am. Likes to go out and have a good time and a couple of pints with friends. Is within 10 years of age to me (That's older, I don't want to date a 16 year old).

Vell my dear Jauntie I just might *says it in a vampire creepy voice*

Well Paul, they might be pretty girls but I bet u they're not nice, cause nice girls would want nice guys. So even if nice guys finish last atleast they end up with good lasting relationships. I think it's worth the wait :-)

Anyways, I'm off to bed. Night Jauntie, Mr Paul. Too bad I didn't get a chance to meet u.

just come in from Rydges(obviously), why is it that all the decent, pretty girls are always going out with badly dressed, gimpy looking men with no sense of how to treat ladies! I guess the saying "nice guys finish last" is true!!!

(Mind you, i always finish last cos i like the lady to finish first, if you know what i mean)

what do us ladies like in a man - correct?

I defy any lady not to admit she likes first a sense of humour

Once a guy can get a lady to smile, he's laughing all the way. true? or not ....
