We all know what a great team Red Bull is and what a superb driver Vettel is. They deserve the applause. One factor that helped them overcome both Ferrari and Renault, was the switch back to the 2012 Pirelli tyre.

thelo: complete agreement..especially about the perfect teamwork and obsessed driver..he apparently visits all the parts suppliers factories because he's so detail oriented..only other driver who was like that was Schumacher and we know how much he achieved:-)

Sulie: ok bro, i'll leave your Tiida alone then..i drove a manual hatchback once and that car wasn't too bad too drive at all:-)

brit: Button???..do I sense some British patriotism leaking into your comment?..Lewis, yes, the UK can be proud of him and his natural talent which I personally rate the highest on the current grid, even if I am pro Alonso/Ferrari..but Button for me is at best competent; another Webber if you like..and hey, you can slate Pirelli but in the end they only did what they were asked to:-)

Sulie: I wish you never confessed you drive a Tiida..nothing wrong with the car..just the stereotype I have come to associate with it lol:-)

I was a great fan of Senna. Who knows what he might have achieved had he lived. I do believe though that Vettel deserves the praise and credits. Remember he is racing against the likes of Alonso, Raikonnen, Lewis and Button. All very good drivers in very good cars. And not forgetting Pirelli, who have tried their best to ruin a great sport.

tcom: as good as Attiyah is, F1 and rallying are poles apart, as Kimi Raikkonen found out to his detriment and as Attiyah in an F1 car might too:-)

brit: agree about Webber..although its not his fault he isn't as good or as young as Vettel, considering that every driver in F1 is in fact a driving maestro compared to normal people, Webber should be second for every time Vettel is first.

A great drive by a great driver. Vettel deserves the title - especially with Adrian Newey as the chief designer. No pity for Webber who seems to be moaning about everything.

Thelo Qatar has Nasser Al-Attiyah

Thelo: even though we are getting off topic, yes, I do hope we one day find a top tier racer from the Middle East..God knows the talent is there, just waiting to be supported/found..an Emirati driver winning at Yas Marina would be an electric scene..

Havoc: haha that was funny; SUV F1 would probably be comprised of an all Arab starting grid:-)

If formula 1 races on SUV then something can happen
