probably QL wants only classified ads posting and not forum and stories anymore.

Ok, If this new format is an APRILS FOOL Joke, Its a little late and falls quite short of being funny. Not user friendly and looks like a steaming pile of S#@T!!

One more thing - the opening of "more" on the new forum topics and hot topics is very slow and it opens up to a whole load of forums with just "130 new", etc. so that takes up more time in going through that.

Anyway, to Qatari, etc - good improvement. And anything new takes time for people to get used to and once we get used to it, we'll be fine with it. Cheerio!

Ok just flipped through the recent posts and the rest of QL. Good ideas and better organized although the fleshing out of your ideas need more work.

The recent posts have pages and pages of ads, which are irrelevant. Plowing through pages and pages of ads are a waste of time, although we know that some people have all the time in the world to surf but not everyone does.

But yes, noted the new forum topics and hot topics on right. So guess it's fine and will stick to that.

Suggestion - If people are looking for something that's advertised, they can go to a specific section that is separate from the rest. You can make that section prominent so that newbies won't miss it.

Maybe you can type yours after every post ;-)

But all those graphics everyone was putting up was terrible, hurting my eyes and surely slowing down the server.

Only problem is the recent posts part, I don't want to see all those classifieds.

God they removed all those signatures. Creating needless burden on the server.

Better if we will clean up first those items in classifieds. Ads keep on piling up, due to numerous re-posting.

1. Why not try deleting old postings, sold items and duplications.

2. Make a filtering of ads either automatic or thru MOD prior to on-line release.

@Cookie Monster its under the "MY MENU" just bellow Qatar Living.com on the top left

The "recent posts" can be accessed through "My Menu" on the top left. Just drag the cursor to the "My Menu" and a drop down window would appear...click on "Recent Posts".

I am not impressed either with the changes... Quite confusing. :(

I was expecting an additional option of "Quote" this time.

Ql really looks messy and it seems everything arranged in a haphazard manner..I really want my OLD QL FORMAT BACK....

QL looks pretty messy though... kind of annoying with all that "submitted by xxx" thing and then the effort to actually look for the comment ... and how a little of it is slipping to the white portion coming out of the comment box... i am still not sure if thats a fault of my browser.
