I fancy a couple of days away. Not interested in Dubai. So where else can I go ?
Don't need to shop, just want a rest.....

Wouldn't recommend Amman. Lebanon is so beautiful and beirut is just amazing but again it's not stable now. Man why do bad things happen to beautiful countries ? Nothing ever happens to Qatar...why not ?? lol

I spent some time in Amman during the war....never got the chance to see the Dead Sea, just the Iraqi border !

How long are u planning to stay? If it's only the weekend then u don't have time to go to Cario and Sharm ElSheikh. Yes Cario is polluted and crowded so I wouldn't recommend it if u want a few days to relax and unwind. But if it's a long stay like 2 weeks then yes it's a must see.

Thats what I was thinking, I did fancy some green !

I would like to see Cairo and the pyramids. But is it really like people say ? Polluted and grubby ?

Well Oman would've been a good choice cause of it's beautiful landscape but now it's out of the question. Hmmm...how about Sharm El-Sheikh in Egypt ? It's known for its beautiful beaches and amazing resorts. Definitely a vacation spot to relax. Bahrain and Kuwait are pretty much like Doha (I'm guessing) so I don't know whether u'll get a chance to really rest. That's all I can think of now, will post if I remember other places.
