Wedding Music

Guys and Gals, I need your help !

My wedding is in 2 weeks and I can't decide what music to have played whilst the guests assemble, then for they bride to walk up the aisle, and finally for us to walk back down the aisle.

I think I need about 40 Minutes of something classical at the start, then I like Canon in D for the brides arrival, but then what ?

Any suggestions ?

i have it in a cd. Mostly love songs:

Barry white- You're the first, my Last, my everything

Edith Pfiaf- La Vie en rose

You're the biggest part of me- Ambrosia

You're the best thing - Style Council

Stevie Wonder songs

For all we know -

Buble, Nina Simone, Dina Washington, Ella F.

etc etc..

i can burn it for you and maybe we can meet up somewhere?

Better ask your fiance about the songs. Easily you can d/l using ARES or limewire.

I guess you are really really busy by this time.. I can do that for you...

Congrats!

Shav

I would suggest Ode to Joy when you and the bride both walk back down the aisle together. Its a beautiful song as well as a happy one to celebrate the occasion!

Since there are so much to choose from, just choose those songs which you and the bride personally like or those songs which has special meaning for the both of you.

Check this website: http://www.ourweddingsongs.com/

You might get some ideas.

Whatever you play, just forget about the cliche old wedding musics and elevator music. I you're having it in the church (is there any other one other than the marriot?) or in your own back yard, look at the surrounding settings and based on the theme of the decoration, choose your muic, think about some new age,spa oritented music for the guests seating time.

I once sang in the wedding, a song from Shania Twain, From this moment on that is really a wedding song.

But if you want something classical or oldies ( not very sure ) try Ave Maria dnt know the artist coz theres a lot of different version...

Congratulation on ur wedding!!!!

Peace!!!
