We muslims love our country.

In India, politics is big business. Some one is doctor, advocate, engineer, professer, employee, etc.and same as some develoups their carrier as politician.Hardly they just want to use their skills for nation but only and only to earn wealth. One former CM traped in scam of 4000 karore rupees and there are many of them, rgardless party and region they did same. To run their business they use anything to escalte public sentimates and I wonder public follow them without understanding matter.
This is very old issue that muslims are being insisted to say "vande mataram". It means I pray to mother India. People who have 33 karore and plus gods can pray anything but muslims are oblige to pray only and only almighty Allah (svt) and follow The holly Quraan.
In Quraan Allah (svt) says love to your vatane aziz is part of your faith.without loving your country your faith is incomplete and you can not forgiven with incomplete faith.ONLY DISPUTE IS HOW TO LOVE YOUR COUNTRY?
I give one exmple. You have mother, sister, wife and daughter. You love them all. but the way you love wife you can not love mother. You can not argue that both are women and you love both, so you have to love both same way.We love our country and this is obliatery for each single muslim but it dosnt mean that we should enforced to love , defined by someone who is not muslim and dont know Islam or just do not want to know Islam.
It is nothing but a trick from some politicians who want to run politics business.
In India constitutionn gave us freedom to follow our faith but I can not understand why these cunning politicians and their sheeps are trying to define our faith?
There is new thing joined by some other business firm and that is media(mostly they are seling shampoo and cosmetics). They are shouting "India first".to me and each Muslim living on earth, Islam is first"
HE/SHE/IT WHO HAVE WEAK FAITH, HAVE FREEDOM TO CHANGE THE DEFINATION OF THEIR FAITH, WE MUSLIM HAVE COMPLETE AND PERFECT RELIGION AND IT SAYS ISLAM IS FIRST AND LOVE TO YOUR COUNTRY IS PART OF OUR FAITH.

Why does everything had to be associated with religion??? can't you love you'r country/keen without associating it with religion? Love wasn't taught by Religion. I can love a goat or a cow, but that does not constitute my belief in God. So what if you say "Country First"? Is your country pure believers of your religion for you to say that Islam should be first???

Jeezzzzz...this thread should be closed as there is no point in discussing a pointless thread.

It's not because things are difficult that we don't dare, it's because we don't dare that makes things difficult!

"In Quraan Allah (svt) says love to your vatane aziz is part of your faith.without loving your country your faith is incomplete and you can not forgiven with incomplete faith."

Can you please provide reference (like surah and verse) where this is written in Quran?

Besttheheart, I really failed to understand those big big words. Only I know that I came here leaving my loved ones behind to fullfill my and their cravings and desires in this life only.

I remember we used to recite this Vande Mataram only in the primary school. After that you don't need to sing it anywhere in your life. So why the issue? Even in schools you can chose to zip your lips.

Everything's gonna be alright!!!

Everybody loves their country!

The need to specify a group over all the others, maybe interpreted as insecurity?

‘A wise person is one who keeps a watch over his bodily desires and passions, and checks himself from that which is harmful and strives for that which will benefit him after death; and a foolish person is one who subordinates himself to his cravings and desires and expects from Allah the fulfilment of his futile desires.’

Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 66 Narrated by AbuYa`la ibn Shaddad ibn Aws

Muawiyah (r.a.) reported: The Messenger of Allah said "When Allah wishes good for someone, He bestows upon him the understanding of ‘deen’ (religion).``

Related by Bukhari and Muslim. Riyah-us-Saliheen hadith 1376

Commentary:

Knowledge and understanding of the ‘deen’ (religion) here stands for the understanding of the Qur`an and the Hadith, religious injunctions, and knowledge of the lawful and the unlawful. This narration highlights the excellence of knowledge and the fact that it is a sign of Allah`s Help to the person who possesses it and acts upon it.
