WANTED: AGENT-FREE ACCOMMODATION FOR RENT :)

Since I will be transferring jobs, I have to leave the company accommodation and get one where my sister and brothers could stay with me. I saw good ones as advertised here in QL, however, I am amazed at how high the commission charges are! There was one guy who said he would be able to lower the rent from 5,500 to 4,800 but I have to pay him the same amount. And then in the end he said, he could still lower the rent at 4,000 but I have to give him a good commission.

How I wish I could come across with landlords that could give a good price and terms and conditions sans agents.

How much should really go to agents?
