Why couple of weeks back on Gulf Times, Qtel said using VOIP card for personal use is llegal. On the other hand selling any VOIP cards are illegal. Why is it like that !!!

I think some people get paid for the publicity they are doing but infact here I am talking about simple facts.
So let Muhammed12 do what he is paid for.
Regards,
Oh no Intelligent, Muhammed12 I believe has posted a thread on why we should be thanking Qtel instead of not being grateful for their continuous rip offs and bad service.

we are living in Qatar which is far behind in some aspect of social life... one thing you mentioned that restriction on VOIP why because its a monoply of QTEL, they are the only one here and earning a lot of money from the expatriats...
there are so many other examples like exit permit policy; you can not leave Qatar unless u get exit permit from your sponser, this is clearly showing that u are living in a restricted area and can not move with liberty and freedom...
Because Qtel is a monopoly and can do what they want.
The point is not that is there an other way to use VOIP. The point is that why is it like that. So its so dissapointing to forbid people use the latest in technology and get benifit of it.
Regards,
There are other ways to use VoIP without having to by VoIP cards. For example, Skype lets you buy credit online.
Yes I know this is Qatar and some times things are like this in Qatar but its very sad coz the more you will restrict people from using technology, the more time they will take to catchup with the changing world.
I am always worried of being outdated. Hope some one takes serious action.
