I am really disappointed with Vodafone and their Flexi plan, I am not satisfied with the service of Vodafone. I have been calling them for the last 3 days to change my Flexi Plan, and the answer is “system is Down we can’t help at the moment” Vodafone what a crap…unfortunately I will have to cancel the Vodafone sim and go back to Qtel !!!!!! Vodafone please try Harder to run your system
its your choice what service will fit you, so don't post all your nonsense complain here.because in the first place vodaphone does not force you to subscribe to them, so if you don't like their service then leave them, thats simple.

when qtel was first launched in Qatar it was called "cable wireless" back then the mobile network did not even work in a moving car,, okaay it was alkatel providing network hubs,,
today vodafone releases and people hav issues, don't worry everything will be fine eventually, it's very typical for a new telecom provider to face these little problems.yes , they shud be prepared, but it's normal for any new organization to be established in theirs beggining days.
what we are forgetting here is, it's because of vfone, qtel also started offering new promos and plans,, so vfone wether functions or not , take it easy,, infact thank them .
"trying to make a call and does not connect" i think it takes more then that to make a real bad day .
So everyone can relax and enjoy the Eid holidays.

I ordered a Vodafone SIM online on 13 Sep 2009. The order # is 49096. I received the sim card by ARAMEX on 15 Sep by Airway bill # 6605108683. I inserted the SIM card in my mobile.
It did not work. It gave message 'SIM ERROR. CONTACT SERVICE PROVIDER'.
I called Vodaphone support number 8007111 on 15 Sep. and informed them about the problem. I was assured that it would be solved within 48 hours and technical services will call me on my other mobile number. I also sent a mail to them but I did not get any reply. Today I called again on 8007111 and I am surprised to hear that there is no complain recorded on my vodafone number so they have again assured that within 48 hours the problem will be solved.
This is my FIRST IMPRESSION about Vodafone and their services in Doha......!

i got a new answer now, she checked with her manager and they said in order to change my Flexi plan I should have credit in my account other wise they cant change it !!!!!

actually i have faced the same issue, i posted on another forum, everytime you call Vodafone and ask them to change your Flexi to RED they give you different answers, once they say .. we are yet to start it .. sometimes they say .. will start in 2 weeks from now, well if i can re call correctly it is already posted in Vodafone FB group that we can change from Flexi to RED anytime and freely ...
I guess this is not the case and we are having the same opinions here..

VODAFONE SERVICE IS VERY VERY BAD. IF WE TAKE A FLEXI FREEDOM PLAN USING CREDIT CARD, THEY WILL DEBIT OUR CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT EVERY MOTHN EVEN IF THEIR IS SUFFICIENT BALANCE AND ALSO THEY WILL NOT SEND EVEN AN SMS BEFORE OR AFTER CHARGING.
IF WE ASK THEM TO CHANGE OUR FLEXY TO FREEDOM, ON PERSON SAID WE HAVE TO WAIT 3-4 WEEKS ANOTHER SAID 2-3 DAYS AND ANOTHER SAID SOORY FOR THE LAST TWO ANSWERS AND HE HAS NO IDEA WHEN CAN WE DO. I AM ALSO PLANNING TO CANCEL VODAFONE .
