VODAFONE - SEEMS TO BE GETTING BETTER
I happen to have better experience at least in booking and dealing with customer service personnel. At first I was under impression that flexi plans are like Hala Prepaid as I had not read in details about the plan. Vodafone as per their promotion are giving facility of choosing your own number which is quite good for people who had have dreams of making your own number. So I did and I was able to choose the number as I wanted. But after booking I realized I will be charged every month. I immediately called customer service and asked him two possibilities:
1) Can I change my ownership
2) Can I reduce my monthly flexi plan from 110 to lower amount?
3) Can I use my Black Berry?
4) Do you have Pre-Paid facility?
He took a note, discussed with his Boss and called back in few minutes with positive answers.
He clarified following doubts:
1) Change of ownership is possible; we need to go to the customer service centers at various locations for change.
2) We can reduce the flexi plan from following months from 110 to 35 0r 50QRS
3) Blackberry services will be launched soon.
4) Pre-Paid card facilities will be launched soon. I believe they will also switching from post to pre and so on ( I don’t know that I assume)
So the experience in general was good as it was very convenient for booking, choosing and clarifying the doubts.
I believe its new service and it will get better. However Qtel is also good but here you have your own number choice and we can still think of keeping two numbers ( as lot of guys have 2-3 sims here)
I am waiting for a facility where we can have flexi plans for VODAFONE Qatar to VODAFONE UK / INDIA cheap calling plans.
