Visiting fiance

McSunny

Hi all,

I arrived in Doha a week ago and love it. I live in Al Monsoura...any opinions?! Quite a way from the centre of town but i get a car soon so that shouldn't be a problem!

I was hoping for some advice...my fiancee would like to visit in a couple of weeks, any opinions, is this risky? What are the implications or will we be ok if we are discreet?

Thanks!

Hello!

I have one question regarding your fiance visa. What kind is it? I mean is it normal turist visa or there acctually exists fiance visa?

Thank you!

oh well , there used to be two in 1988... guess I have been away from Doha for a while...ooops ...oh well have all the time in the world after Dec 3rd to explore all the other changes too when I finally come over for good . that explains the lack of immigration questions :-)

Actually there is just one. There used to be the Gulf Sheraton which is now the Marriott.

mansoura is a fine place to live in and is one of the prime residential areas . i too live in mansoura and its not that far from city - and to tht matter the whole city is harldy 15 kms so how can you be so far away??? have a ncie time with your finaceee and enjoy the good climate now.

how are you being discreet by postin this message here;-)

shudnt be a problem, if she is you fiancee and she is geting a visa to come here, so its actually fine for her to be here.

no public displays of any sort, no one will mind your business, if u dont mind others.

lots of things go on over here, all discreet but the world knows, get what i mean.
