visit visa for parents

Dear friends.

i would like to get my parents to doha for a visit. i heard that ministry is not giving visa for people above 60 yrs of age. is this true? do any body have experience in this. if not possible what is the solution?

Last week my friend's parents came. they are above 65. so go ahead you will get visa insha Allah.

in case of a family member >60 years of age, a medical report (approved by Qatar Embassy in your country) stating that he/she is fit to travel can help a lot (altho it's not required)

Few days back only my parents came. My father is 66. Now a days it`s not a problem....... Go ahead. Best of Luck..
