Opinions on Venus Williams' pink, sequined dress with matching Bedazzled tennis underwear will vary, but on one thing we can all agree: It was quite a distraction
Though Venus defeated No. 18 seed Shahar Peer in straight sets, the tightness of her self-designed dress clearly gave her issues throughout the mess. During most points the tight garment would ride up Venus' hips, revealing her undergarments for everyone to see. Before the next point began, Venus would have to pull down the sides of the dress. The routine captivated the announcers in the CBS broadcast booth, who talked about the form-fitting dress for much of the match.

yeah, i think she designs her own tennis outfits. i've been following what she's wearing since that french open lingerie-like thing she wore :D too bad she didn't move to the finals at wimbledon, the dresses were also very, um, 'entertaining'.
this us open's theme for her is sparkling. if i were her opponent i'd complain about the bits of blinding light reflected from her dress and say that i'm losing the game because of that. i only watch a good distance from my tv but i get distracted all the same.

I mean have you looked at Dementieva? She"s gorgeous. How Venus managed to concentrate on her tennis with an erection is beyond me.

think about it though, it could be the old Michael/La Toya Jackson story about them being the same person....
