here in doha, we actually wait for any occasion to celebrate it, coz u have nothing else to do.. working , shopping, going to restaurants thats all, so making something like valentine special in family, if u have family with u, or between friends will make nice impact and take u out of routine.. on valentine the romantic spirit is higher than usual so if u make this friends party for singles, im sure some girls will attend too, u will form couples after it.. good luck

i had read somewhere that valentines days is not just for romance, its the feeling of affection for all, including freinds.

so you dont need to have a guys night out, you need to have a freinds evening out, sort of celebrate friendship day on this day.

its our first valentine as husband and wife, i mean its our first year of marriage so i was thinking about making it special, last valentine we were not married yet and it was him who made it special by traveling to lebanon just to celebrate together, so beeing new at qatar i just visited few places and the best till now is the pearl at mariott but i wanted a new place, with no loud music as im pregnant..so any help would be great, thanks han19

personally i have stopped believeing in valentines day as a romantic day becausee for me, everyday should be a valentines day, a day of romance, if its possible.

having said that, why dont you tell us, what you have already tried on valentines day, so we can think of new ideas for you.

what have you already gifted?

i think most promotions will be posted in the dailies by this weekend or next, but they wont be cheap.
