Vacations are medicine for the soul
We are creatures of habit. Day in and day out we carve a routine for ourselves, serving one purpose; survival. That’s the way we program ourselves to function throughout our lives. Then why does a point come when we don’t have the energy to face a perfectly good day? This happens to all of us. Call it a breakdown, or meltdown, or by any name signifying vigor drained away.
We can dupe ourselves into a mundane routine, but we can’t cheat our inherent desires. The soul needs to breathe. It needs freedom to grow and mold into versatile streams of life. Monotony can dull our senses of joy and freedom. Try to find a balance between chores and responsibilities. Create space for yourself and your loved ones to enjoy little moments; alone or together. Go for a vacation.
Vacations are more than just a ritual. Novelty breathes life into our souls. This novelty is best discovered at a new place you have never visited before. Even that is not a fixed rule. Adventure lies in flexibility and spontaneity, wherever you may be. A change of scenery is always welcome as an oasis in the desert.
There are no hard and fast rules to enjoying your vacation a particular way. If you find some financial constraints pinching your purse, you can always plan an invigorating time for yourself and your family inside Qatar. Plan a day out at the beach or a park, or even a museum and just relax with no other agendas on your list.
The idea is to replenish your burdened soul and provide it relief by taking a break. Whenever you can, arrange a vacation trip to your preferred destination and make the most out of it. Plan well, but enjoy each moment as it comes.
Equi has rightly pointed out the importance of break from the daily routine ...........
"You lose your health in order to earn money, which you have to spend on your lost health".
So, it is a cycle that none can escape out.
