US / Shengen Visa - Need some Tips (Help)
Hi everyone!
Me, my husband and our child are planning to have a vacation this coming end of the year either in US or Europe. As of now we are preparing to apply for a visa. I search some forums but still there is some questions in my mind. So tips and suggestions are highly appreciated. Here are some of my questions:
1. Which is wiser decission, apply for US visa first then Shengen visa? or vice versa? - Im thinking, if denied in US then approved in Shengen, then next year we will apply for US again and tell the consul that we go to europe instead because they denied our application?
2. One Tip from the US embassy site I read,
"All applicants must submit a letter from their employer stating their job title, basic monthly salary, and length of employment with their employer and the purpose of their visit to the United States."
My question there is, If I will bring already salary certificate, employment certificate and the contract, do we still need this letter? one problem I see to that letter is that, my contract on my company is indefinite.
3. Most of the documents our company provides are written in Arabic? Can they translate it there in the Embassy?
4. We have some second degree relatives there but we are not planning to be with them. Is it important to mention them in the application.
5. My family is here, Mother, Father and Sister. Will it help to mention them? or not related?
Please feel free to give me Tips and Suggestions it will us a lot. Thank you in advance.
update:
1. US visa denied
2. Schengen Visa approved for 14 days only.
We went to Italy-Sweden-Paris-Doha
Lets see next year we will try angain on US Embassy
mention everything that you can mention! and submit all the documents that you can gather.. and even after that the visa to USA is not guaranteed at all...
and of course nobody will bother to translate the documents in the embassy. you have to take care of it by yourself.
