Thats right. They are getting more and more irrelevant. Afghanistan and the world won't need them now. Its making the public life more difficult.

Many of those gentlemen were "Mujahideen" (holy war fighter) during russian war, for western media's.

Mercenaries or not, they are taking arms and fighting for one common cause - religion. And thats one lame fact that the rest of the world have to counter with.

Many of these "gentlemen" are mercenaries who have no values regarding morality or ethics..

Sometimes its better than having nothing at all. Afghanistan needs them most to counter what is thought to be the worlds most notorious terrorist network. The country scenario could even be worst if that gentleman in the Tora Bora cave still be at helm.

One of the side effects of "outsourcing" security.

DotCom is so painful to think about. I remember being in US before the Bush/Gore election and just knew if Bush won we'd jump into some pretense of a war with Iraq. God forgive us for electing him.

I don't know what else to say.

US has no business here militarily (I mean Iraq and Afghanistan; the reasons for US to be in Qatar are easily understood!). We should be investing peacefully.

Understand I lost personal and entirely innocent friends in 9/11. Yet given all that the continuing military option serves us not.

Salaam.

Samia no, they've all been sacked and this won't help them get work when they get back.

It makes me sad, angry, so many things to see ppl do these things.

ppl are glad to live in a nation where this sort of thing is allowed to happen? !when people have no self-respect it is not possible to be respected.

and once again nothing but a slap on the wrist if that and the broken system continues on it's merry way.

DotCom - agree but would modify what you say to the morality of a group of people, not a nation.

Both the US and Afghanistan are very large and extraordinarily diverse countries.

What is unfortunate is the behaviour of this group of Americans who please, do not assume represent the entirety of the country.

They are the bottom.

You take uneducated American yahoos out of their trailer park and put them in a totally unfamiliar environment without real leadership and nothing to do and what do you expect? Stupidity and arrogance. These things are so embarrassing.

Kick all those yahoos back to US.

Thats "Freedom at its best". The tendency for these young men that have been deprived of their social status as an army and have been given leeway once in a while to release all the hell out of their brains. I won't blamed them either. Ever heard that in a navy, a life size dolls is provided for sex.
