if u have a brand new OTB 1.1.3 iphone, its NOT unlockable even turbosim for now.

if u have 1.1.2 using Turbosim, u can use 1.1.3 only in soft upgrade method.

if u have 1.1.1 or lower iphone, yes u can unlock now to 1.1.3.

(but believe me, it a lot of process.. take time and sweat!..)

Gavin. What fix did you use. Maybe I can help you if I know it. There should be no problem with SMS id in 1.1.3 if caller ID works.

I have a turbo sim jailbreak software upgraded 1.1.3 iphone. I live in South Africa and have tried running the fix posted for the SMS and CALLER ID problem. I ran it with cyber duck but alas my caller id seems to work but not the SMS id. Was just wondering if you know of a fix yet.

have u tried the Official release in INSTALLER or the Download from there site?

me, i havent problem like that.

my only problem is the ringtone and Caller ID but it is now fixed..

but i saw some solution on hackintsh but never tried it.

i think they already solved it. :)

Dandy the upgrade to 1.1.3 was on a fresh 1.1.2 with out any apps installed.

try uninstalling all apps inlcuding BSD and SSH before going to 1.1.3.

Dandy the Passcode Lock in the "General" setting does not seem to work for 1.1.3, The phone stays unlocked. Can you check if it works on your iPhone.

yeah your right, it is not a full 1.1.3 because the modem remains.

but that is the trick, so that we can upgrade to 1.1.3. ^^,

if they did not do it, then we will wait for another month just to see the 1.1.3 with correct modem..

actually i give it 2 trys.

first: i upgraded from 1.1.1 to 1.1.3, then when fixing the bugs..i accidentally replace and the screen all gone. haha. so i restore it agai nto 1.1.1 and still ofcourse unlocked again.

second try: 100% working

Dandy that should be 100% reversible.

I was surprised when I reversed from 1.1.3 --> 1.0.2 --> 1.1.2 Using Itunes my Phone still remained unlocked. In any case I was not very much impressed with This 1.1.3 as the upgrade is superficial as the internal kernel still stays 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 from which you have upgraded.

aww..i hope that news will not come true.

but if it happens, i will just restore it again.. :(

actually, this 1.1.3 release for upgrade by Nate is 100% ireversible.

(so it won't brick your iphone.)

im installing apps now on my 1.1.3 and all are working fine and smooth.

i love the new "wiggly icons" for this 1.1.3.

the 1.1.3 im talking about is from 1.0.2 or 1.1.1 going to 1.1.3.

but if your talking about 1.1.2 or 1.1.3 OTB or OUT-OF-THE-BOX which means brand new Iphone, those are NOT UNLOCKABLE by software in the moment.

There will be no unlocking of those NEW VERSION 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 OTB right now.. but it will come soon just be patient. :)

GOOGLE - ok (the locate me will not work in qatar so far because database is not yet supported..depends on the country)

all are working smmoth and fine!

the PROBLEM i only have is:

the SMS and CALLER ID, some shows and some are not.

i apply the method we use in 1.1.2 but it is not working anymore..

(but i have done some remedy for the meantime, and my contacts are all working fine now again..and if this works..i will post it in forums so that the team will develop something..)

I upgraded to 1.1.3 and found the following.

1. All existing apps are deleted ( not un installed.)

2. You have to uninstall and re-install all the applications.

3. Most of the applications work. ( A few don't)

4. An image file of size 300 MB + is left on the iPhone which needs to be deleted.

5. Phone Number displayed and Phone Number stored in Addr book had to be tweaked.

I guess i'll be going back to 1.1.2 Till a better jailbreaking app is released.

Darude, Thats because downloads is not ( or should I say was not) supported in iPhone safari. This is/was a limitation which may be enabled when developers kit is released

I have a software unlocked 1.1.2 iPhone and it works well with Airtel. Is your iPhone unlocked thru software, In other words can you use any other sim card successfully without turbo sim.

Qatman ... it says 'Invalid Sim'... but the phone runs ... it works when I use a turbo sim ... but with the turbo sim, I've to charge the battery every night ...

if you have an unlocked 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 then you can upgrade to 1.1.3 with your unlock (AnySim) retained. Some reports suggest that the apps have to be reinstalled after the process and most of them work.

HiQatar, What do you mean by it does not recognize? Does the it crash when you enter a phone number throuh the dialpad? If this is the case then it can be easily resolved.

Dude ... I have 1.1.2 ... in India ... i've unlocked it but it doesnt recognize the india sim ... i've heard that, we need to use a turbo sim for making this work but it eats into the battery ... have u got any other solution for this ???
