In a little over two years, Doha will have the world's first underground stadium, which will be used for matches during the 2011 Asian Cup football tournament and future events.

yeah u r ryt even the national players dont play there xcept in the final of Amir's cup 2005

thts coz athleets use it all the tym

i think no one will enjoy a match while siting in khalifa stadium coz it has got a big race track who act as a buffer B/W the pitch and the fans.

Have a good weekend

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors; but they all have to learn to live in the same box.

I have to say that it looks fantastic. I can imagine how good it would be play on something like that. However, The Khalifa Stadium built for the Asian games has a superb pitch but even the National team dont play on it, they use Al Saad stadium instead.

If it helps Qatar get the Olympics or future FIFA World cups then fair enough, but it will just sit and get dusty the rest of the time.

Good luck to Qatar with their bids, personally i dont think youre quite ready. I'll still be on the Corniche tonight wishing you well.
