TV Anchor Storms Off In Kardashian Story Rant

Hats off to this guy. Am I the only one who feels that “reality Shows” and “reality stars” are taking over people’s lives. People are obsessed with their every move.
Television news anchor has stormed off set in America saying he can't stand talking about the Kardashian family any more.
John Brown got up off the sofa during the live Good Morning Orlando programme when the topic changed to Kylie Jenner and her pet rabbit "Bruce".
"I am having a good Friday, so I refuse to talk about the Kardashians today," he said. "You are on your own, Amy. I can't do it."
As his co-anchor Amy Kaufeldt was left looking embarrassed, a replacement came on to carry on the news item with her.
However, Brown was still wearing his microphone and could be heard shouting from off camera: "I don't care about this family. I’m sick of this family. It’s a non-story!"
The Kardashians have become one of the most famous families in the world with their every movement documented on social media and reported on widely.
So, down to the question. Are you a reality show or Film star follower ? If so, why ?
Facebook works with a similar business model. And people seem to like it. It's not Facebook's fault that the content is such low-level, it's the users who are low-level. The same applies to QatarLiving.

Or, to put it frankly: people get what they want to see. Obviously the lives of many are boring so that there is an ever increasing interest in seeing how boring the lives of others are. That sues your mind and you don't feel so minor anymore.
The reality is that TV shows are made after intensive research about what the viewers want to see, because a lot of viewers mean a lot of money for the TV station through advertisement. So, the business model says: do what people want to see, get high viewer rates, and then increase your prices for advertisements. This isn't the original mission of broadcasting anymore, it's a new and successful business model.
I don't even know who Kardashian is.
I agree with the act of the TV news anchor. While I do not know who this Kardashian family is or what is so special about them, I did note that the media portrayed them as if they are some one from another world. Recently, one of them was pictured showing her baby bump. Why? There are thousands of women across the world including even in the film and fashion industry who get pregnant but not so much attention is given them. Whenever, I see the name Kardashian in the media, I just don't bother to read the article at all.
That family deserves it for the over show off. Nice news in the morning.
