Travelling by land to UAE
By roadtripper •
Hi anybody here have experienced travelling by land from doha to uae?coz my friends are planning to do that this coming eid.i am an expats from the philippines and i will use my newly acquired car which is still under mortgage with QNB,what are the procedure needed to materialize our plan. VISA?PERMIT?ANY OTHER ELSE?
Thanks a lot
But, as far as I know, you might not be able to take a rental car there; so must own a car.
u will enjoy it but dont forget to apply for yr saudi transit visas in advance as they take 3 to 4 working days sometimes. its a lovely drive. we did it twice. UAE entry is sometimes time consuming as they r slow in issuing the visit visas. once into UAE there r petrol pumps to stop. they have all the facilities one may need while travel. have a nice trip
i will check on this
thanks

max 6 hrs trip by car , pay not more than qr150 for total paper work ,petrol stations and restaurants every few kilometers , slight
traffic on the road , to make it very easy get urself a gprs for the car (very useful not only to reach but to explore the whole emirates)
u will love it , (once u get out of doha)
i like doha but dubai is a place to be
drive safe
