Hey guys! I am really confuse to write this letter, I don't know if this make sense. Well to make the story short and briefly. I Accept the job offer from one of the telecommunication company here in Qatar. I completed the requirements and Submitted everything. NOC (none objection certificate) from my previous company,Submitted the Copy of my QID, Police Clearance from my country, submitted the Copy of my passport, CR and CC copy of my previous company and the transfer sponsorship form with the seal of the government in Qatar. Now my question is? Is it possible that they will transfer my sponsorship without my original QID? and the thing is my Visa expired last Thursday. I am really confuse about the process. How long does it takes. Every time that I ask them. They're saying in the process, take note I haven't started yet to their company. But most likely within this month! I don't know what to do now?

If the visa got expired while on the process of transferring, then there is no need to renew. The new company will just pay for the penalty based on the number of days, which is like QR 10 per day, if i'm not mistaken. Transferring visa usually takes from 2 weeks to a month, mostly depending on the CID check. Just my 2 cents.

The thing is they didn't took my Original QID since I submit all the documents.. before my QID is not yet expired. So its a fault of my new company?

I see.. You mean to say I have to go back in my previous company and ask them to renew my visa. My previous company provides everything to transfer to a new company. They raise 1 thing for me before I left in my company, they told me we will provide you NOC and Everything but make sure that they can transfer you As soon as possible! otherwise we will not renew you visa! that is one thing that I am afraid for, maybe they will not renew my visa.

As per my previous company they can transfer it even if its expired because I already have a visa! there are 3 months grace period to transfer the sponsorship. but thanks anyway for the response I highly appreciated!

for me QID is just a portable copy of your visa recorded in MOI and stamped in your passport. Of course they should be able to transfer your visa without that.

But since your visa has expired, your current sponsor should renew it first before they can file the transfer.
