Traffic Police

When will anyone have the courage to tell the traffic police that they are not at all helpful in managing roundabouts? I was stuck at Qatar Sports Club for 20mins this morning, then the cop walked away to his car. Hey presto - traffic jam clears within minutes... I wouldn't normally comment on such a thing, but I see it all the time. Traffic jam = police 'helping'. Aaarrrgggh...
