We often see debate here in Qatar about who by nationality causes accidents. Do you think we'd ever see statistics published like this article from UAE ? http://www.emirates247.com/news/emirates/drivers-of-5-nationalities-to-blame-for-three-fourths-of-all-fatal-road-accidents-in-dubai-2014-02-17-1.538575

you are all very correct , but i think you are missing the point of the article.

Statistics do not lie , but you can interpret them very differently.

Statistics depends on many factors. If the number of people of a particular nationality are higher in foreign country than other nationals, their presence will be seen more at many places and incidents. If this same statistics were shown for a country like Saudi Arabia where Indians and Egyptians outnumber the Pakistanis, it will reflect a totally different story. Just keep in mind there are two types of lies in this world: The White Lie, and the Statistical Lie!

kind of pointless to show these statistics without also showing the share of total miles driven by these nationalities...

~80% of accidents caused by these 5 nationalities is okay if ~80% of all driving is also done by people from these countries
