in Texas..they would get especially big in North Texas cause there was nothing to block their path..the tiny ones, we'd run at and jump in the middle of, as kids..mom hated that because we'd come home all filthy and dirty.

Lol they're not that large though. I drove into one. It's more of a view than of something to fear :P

I saw them too that day, driving out to Shahaniya, I wasn't sure if it was just construction debris or a real tornado, there was even a really small one close to Al Shaqab petrol station! Anyways, I wonder if a really big one would ever come through and destroy everything :P

although much smaller.......I was off today so went to pick the kids up from school. It was between Al Waab and Al Saad Junctions, on the rough land next to the stadium car park,it was a nice little twister . Before anyone, takes the michael, (it wasnt construnction dust). It stopped the traffic further on. It was a great sight.( Even the Police left the vehicle to have a look).

Was going to take a pic but 700QR is a hefty fine, under the new traffic laws for expats.

No problem ... he was not on his mobile or smoking while driving ... because he had both hand on the camera.

Hope the traffic cops didn't see him :D

Fabulous pictures though! No wonder it went so dark yesterday afternoon.
