The weight doesn't change for an object

a weight of car is (x) on rest and it keep the same on 200 kmph.

What change is gravity loss

the car is more stable or wut so called heavier in rest than speeding .. cuz in speeding it lose the gravity

When it lose the gravity it's so called that it lost weight.

ur weight changes on the moon cuz of the gravity .. in fact it doesn't change u just lose the gravity pressure which make u stick on the ground ..

Well they must not be weighing hardly anything at all at that speed, maybe the weight of a feather

By SAMAEL• 22 Oct 2008 13:29

i just wonder how much the person and bike included would weigh at that speed... a small pebble on the road would probably be enough to turn him into a kamakazi pilot.

Any physics majors out there?

Edit: Mythbusters proved that that spray was a waste of money.

like brit said,i guess it'll be illegal.....so it's better not to set out on such endeavors....plus,as you said,it's like giving a spare key to the thief himself!it's too dangerous a thing to be sold in a country like this where people have some of the most stupid driving manners.

Keep smiling!

Ram, what about buying Kalaschnikow from the Internet and selling them in Qatar. Do you think that there will be a problem? I'm not planning to use them, just want to make some profit selling them.

By anonymous• 22 Oct 2008 10:25

I'm not thinking about using it ..

but thinking about trading it .. is it really illegal .. i mean if i distributed to the accessories shops.. is there a prob.?

it's already sold in the US and other countries and ON the internet ..

Svelte: I will earn a lot from these ppls .. But wut i'm thinking about is "How many ppl will i kill with such product?"

This product is banned in most countries..

If you brought it here, you would be breaking the law and could be prosecuted.. Not worth risking..

I got a product from the USA, It's a spray that u apply to ur plate number and no Radar or speed trap can get u IF you are driving at night..

It's like a lamination layer reflects the lights of the flash back to the Camera to appear totally white.. and your plate number is SAFE.

But the thing which i don't know ... will they allow it to enter Doha if i purchased it over the internet

It's really amazing ... lol

Unfortunately, this is the real fact behind all the accidents - many innocent people are involved.

By anonymous• 22 Oct 2008 09:24
anonymous

Absolutely, Brit. It will take a long time, and I'm losing patience!

Seriously though, they need to keep the message coming and above all, get it into the schools. And in no way do I blame Qataris for all the bad driving, but whether they like it or not, the Qatari govt has to take responsibilty for doing the educating.

I was taken aback a few years ago when they had a "safety awareness" display at City Centre, and they were showing videos of guys in their SUVs speeding through roundabouts on 2 wheels... over and over and over again... no footage of accidents or damage.

The kids have to be made aware of the consequences of this kind of driving.

By britexpat• 22 Oct 2008 09:16

I agree..

However, Qatar is a developing society.. How long did it take USA, UK, France, Canada to develop its laws and "educate" its people.

Also, remember that Qataris are a minority, therefore, the accidents, road misuse cannot all be blamed on Qataris. Everyone has to be educated and included.

Lastly, after having driven in Saudi Arabia, believe me, when I say that Qatar is a doddle.

But Brit, they never seem to address the damage and deaths that are caused by reckless driving..

canarybird... it's not only drivers who are injured and killed. There are also their passengers and drivers of other vehicles :-(

"Suggesting solutions for the rising number of accidents involving pedestrians, al-Malki said the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) should build subways and footbridges and mark zebra crossings for the use of pedestrians".

The whole article makes interesting reading, but this part does raise concern for me!!!

The question is what is a "Zebra Crossing" well this is a topic on it's own, but how would that work for pedestrians? Someone driving at 250kmh - pray tell me how such a driver will manage to stop at a "Zebra Crossing"?

The article does of course not mention how many four wheel drives drive on the wrong side of the road to avoid humps endangering other traffic, or the continual use of sevice roads as a means of lane hopping.

notfromhere - paralyzed hmm!!!! well they will have a lifetime to think about what they did for a few minutes of adrelin rush or just to scare other drivers, for my part I hope they live until they are 100.

I would not give anyone in this country a driving license until they can proove they can handle a car properly(this includes the ladies in black who have recently taken to tailgaiting)and I would forbid car dealers to sell anyone under 30 cars that can accelerate over 50kmhs and hour even that is too fast for the majority and then I would have all of them practice how to use an indicator until such time as they do it.

Come on people.. Its a good article , highlighting the problems of "bad driving"..

OK, a minority of morons may take it as a chalenge, but hopedully it will help us all heed the warning..

I wonder if the same was printed in arabic papers ???

So now all the punks in their fast cars and motorcycles are going to go out and try to top the "records" that were posted in this morning's paper. This kind of reporting just continues to glorify the recklessness.

Instead of reporting the highest speeds, why aren't they reporting on the people killed, the young men paralyzed, the injuries caused by excessive speeding and lack of seat belts??? Grrrrr...
