Al Shammal and Madinat Khalifa registered the highest number of traffic accidents while the Industrial Area witnessed the highest proportion of localised fatalities from motor crashes in Qatar in 2010, according to official figures. A total of 4,177 cases of traffic accidents were reported by the traffic authorities in the country, of which Al Shammal and Madinat Khalifa constituted 18% each at 770 and 763 cases respectively, Qatar Statistics Authority (QSA) data revealed. I was reading an article the other day, pointing out that most accidents (60%) were provoked by expats and "only" 40% by Qataris.
Expat population: roughly 1,550,000
Qatari population: roughly 250,000
Shame on the expats!!! :)
Discipline, respect for others and being a defensive driver is a must habit for all of us. Unfortunately, some drivers think they are the king of the roads.

Allahu Must3aan... Something I fret about constantly...who will be a part of this morbid statistic next?God have mercy and protect all the law abiding and scrupulous people from those careless demons cruising the street. Is the pomp thrill and adrenalin rush really worth all this carnage? Audubillah!
Only few people are considering this "Better late than not arriving at all" instead better for them not to arrive at all. They are taking things from " end to start "
Yes may he bless us all Reem85..:) and Keep us and our loved ones safe on the Roads in Qatar.
Sooo right..."Better late than not arriving at all"
Drive safely, every life is worth that safety. Life is fun but playing with life for fun is not a sensible act at all. Allah bless us all.
