Qatar Airways is great.
One of the only 5 star airlines.
But if you want to save on bucks and don't care, you could always check
on www.travelocity.com www.expedia.com or www.opodo.com
Remember that www.qatarairways.com shows cheaper prices for the airline than the comparison sites.

Emirates has a direct from Houston to Dubai and then it's only a hop to Doha.

Qatar Airways flies from washington and newark u can take a connecting flight from houston on any american carrier u can check with your local travel agent for details as what competive fare they can offer,the penalies offered for date change is only from Doha not from usa.
Qatar Airways posted new restrictions to their tickets now. It is very inconvenient to the passengers I'd tell you...for date change they will ask for additional QR350, I heard.

I believe Qatar Airways are about to introduce a direct flight from Houston to Doha, not in time for your flight though. Suggest either connect to Qatar Airways via Washington or via London or Frankfurt

caryllon54........take a flight from the US to Frankfurt ( all the major US airlines fly there so you can choose you favorite) fron FRA you can take the Qatar airlines flight direct to Doha........done it a few times and to honest they are not bad , food, service and the G and Ts come quick and there prices are good if you book early.

Sorry my mistake I flew with Emirates then with Qatar airlines HOOOPPPSSSS!!! then into Doha..its been a long long day !
Philly. Would I fly all the way from Houston to there or pick up Qatar Airlines somewhere else? I thought that was Qatar Airlines was the connecting flight and the only way to get into Qatar.
Qatar Airways are very good I flew with them from London to Dubai to Doha.
Very good service and entertainment on board.They are reasonably priced as well.Book early! Also if you decide to use them go to their web site and register free for the club. Hope this helps.
