Saudi police arrested three Arab women caught stealing female pilgrims at the world’s largest Mosque, newspapers reported on Thursday.

Security men and women watched the three women after receiving reports from female pilgrims that they have been robbed at the Grand Mosque in the Western Makkah town.

“They were targeting women carrying bags...police women searching the three found more than SR4,000, and stolen bags, mobile phones and cameras with them,” the Arabic language daily Sabq said.

It seems that nowhere is free from criminals….. I hope they get a long sentence

For many pilgrims especially during Hajj, visiting the Grand Mosques in Makkah and Medinah is "once-in-a-lifetime" experience." These pilgrims never ever have the slightest thought that criminals lurk around even at the most holy places and as such they relax their guard. Criminals know of this well, These criminals who have no fear of God, take advantage of the situation, leaving the victims in considerable difficulties in a foreign land. The Saudi authorities do handle such criminals with an iron fist and they do not get off easily when they get caught.
