Things you are not supposed to do to your PC
Things people are not supposed to do to their computers but do any ways.
1)- Cleaning the insides of the box of your CPU with a vacuum cleaner. This is really bad for vital components such as the RAM and the Motherboard. Why? When you use a vacuum cleaner to clean the dust inside your PC, a lot of static is formed. If you've ever bought extra RAM or a Motherboard, you will see that it comes in a Grey anti static bag. Static electricity can damage RAM easily. It can also damage components of your motherboard and render it useless. Whats the alternative? Use a blower rather than a vacuum cleaner. Also, a brush works fine.
2) Leaving a CD inside the CD drive. If a CD is in your CD drive and you reboot your computer, the laser constantly tries to read the CD while the computer is loading the start up. This does on harm the computer in anyway but it makes it considerably slower. Put in a CD after you have fully stated up your PC and remove it after you are done.
3)Not checking your PSU unit. PSU's are supposed to last a year or two. They should be checked and cleaned at least once a year. If leaking capacitors of a burning smell is prevalent, it should be replace because when a capacitor burns out, it could take out other more expensive components in the process.
