Things people say but don't mean
We all have our personal lists - of the zaniest/quirkiest/
funniest/ craziest/smartest ... We devote this page to them.
This week, Gillian Mckenzie Greer lists. (Gillian Mckenzie Greer, director sales and marketing, MINC Apartments, Dubai.)

We begin with:
'I'll call you' - If it's a guy saying this to you, don't raise your expectations because he may not call. Even if he does, it may be several days later. If it's coming from a prospective employer they probably won't call either. Usually that call never comes, so stop waiting.
'Will be back in five minutes'- From what moment in time and why am I waiting for 20 minutes?
'It looks great on you' - Coming from a shop assistant who just wants make the sale in order to increase her commission, this should be taken with a pinch of salt.
even if I say I LOVE U ! One is to believe me....by following my actions preceding the claim.
When I say something I really mean it..
Unless at very high temperament (real ANGRY)....I don't know even what rubbish I was throwing.
Things people say but don't mean ... hmmm.. generally, this does not apply to me. What you see is what you get, online and offline.
Having said that, I'm still also Asian, so I give "face" to people and try as far as possible not to embarrass them or hurt their feelings - in public. I will generally be silent but my silence is almost never acquiescence. But I don't mince my words or actions in private. If I say something, I definitely mean it. If I don't say something, don't assume.

Don't want no drama,
No, no drama, no, no, no, no drama
"I'd kill myself if I had an ass that big." - dont even think about it.
"I will buy you 1,000 dollars worth of pretty clothes when you lose all the weight you need to." - Oh, did I said that.
"If you want to be happy for the rest of you life, never make a pretty woman your wife." - I know Im pretty ;)
how true mj. saying sorry is really hard because it means accepting that you are wrong this time. it takes a lot of humility and grace to swallow your pride and accept that you have committed a mistake.
saying sorry is easy just like that...
BUT, saying sorry like you really mean it, now that's different.. as they say, "Sorry seems to be the hardest word"... i do believe so...
i'll call you is the most irritating of all! if a guy said that to me, i just pretend not to hear it.
sorry..some people say sorry as if its already an everyday expression to them.
SOME people say it, but do they really mean it?...
I should think the other way around???
