I am extremely upset and disgusted by this. It's a story CBS News broke a couple of days ago about neglected and abused children found in a Baghdad orphanage. They were rescued by American soldiers.
image2946230g

"I saw children that you could see literally every bone in their body..."
image2942826g

"The kids were tied up, naked, covered in their own waste — feces — and there were three people that were cooking themselves food, but nothing for the kids."

CBS photos.

I have a question, We all know what the presence of American Forces is causing in Iraq, it is turning into a war between U.S. And the islamists. The islamists have made it their main motto to drive the americans out. and all the iraqis want america to leave. eventually america has to leave because the americans also want their forces out of iraq.

so this leaves iraq with what options?

Why cant the previous iraqi army take control of the country?

Whats with the mehdi militia. what is their purpose in iraq

Airsupply waiting for your reply.

You're asking who's the jacka$$? I said i was generalizing...accept it as it is...calling me a slut? happy now?

I'm not threatening you? why should I? Who am i to do that? I am expressing what I think and feel at the moment...I'm entitled to it as much as you are entitled to yours.

I agree, your issue is simple...you complained about a club which YOU thought was racist. Somebody started throwing words that you (as arabs) deserve that because YOU are racist people. Have I not said that it was a matter of miscommunication?

You live by that "fair rule" of "Eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth"...so be it. You gave a piece of your mind...I gave what's in my heart.

I offered the olive branch...you offered yours...I accept as you accept mine...let's end it HERE...name calling and ALL!

I also dont believe the HE nor his sons were killed. I believe they are secured somewhere on this planet.

I have told you previously; I have many western friends, even Americans. I dont mix politics with my friends. The trash that made me attack westerners was called "knoxcollege" who started saying that arabs are racists & finally there is someone strong enough to tell them:"you are not wanted in this place" (Garveys). I was even more mad when everybody shut up with him/her but started blaming me when I was firing back on him!

By anonymous• 24 Jun 2007 01:42
anonymous

I will accept your olive branch just after I answer your comments:

"I never mentioned any name, PM. Was he hurt? So he retaliated by registering again...calling me a "$L*T$"? So we're back to an "eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth" principle?"

You never answerd my question about who may this person be who was "professing their race's superiority above others"?!! And may I ask what is wrong with that fair rule An Eye For An Eye? I didn't get hurt from anything. It seems that YOU can't handle the truth!

"Don't use me as a reason to come back to QL and spit your venom once again..."

I tell you once again: I only respect peopel who have self-respect!

"there are far worse character here than me, AirSupply or AirSuplly (whatever you wanna call yourself now)"

I dont give a damn about your threats or your "far worse charecters"

"So, if you say you're a great judge of character, start looking in the mirror first....."

Well I dont judge characters, they expose themselves.

"For you getting banned, you were given a warning at the very start of the thread yet you continued...so you forced the hand"

it is still unjustified specially if the warning was coming from unfair person(s). There are many solutions to the debate. If you dont want to be insulted with bad words, dont use them & dont provok people, OR neglect that person if you think he/she has a bad character, or try to convince him/her with logic & reason...but dont block the person because then you are killing the soul of freedom & democracy. In this case we are not better than the ones that we are complaining about.

Once again: my issue was very simple; I complained about a club which I thought was racist. Somebody started throwing words that we (as arabs) deserve that because WE are racist people. No one replied that trash but started blaiming ME when I was firing back. This means that these people are supporting that trash & deserve to be treated as trash, too. It is as simple as this!

Now do you wanna take the olive branch from my hand?

As a wise & patriot man, and despite how I feel about the American invasion, but I think that the only way out is for the invading armies to stay in Iraq for a while & be honest enough to secure, control & develop the country in the same manner that they have protected the Ministry of Oil/Petrol (the only NEVER-attacked place in Iraq since the invasion in 2003). They should not bring fake (Iranian) ministers, change their names, give them Iraqi passports/I.D's, let them kill & ruin the country, and when they people start to find proof that filthy ministers are involved in killings/rape/crime, the Americans start chasing these ministers (but unfortunately the run away).

When they bombed that holy hisorical shrine in Smarraa, they caught them, they handed them to the minister of interior, he released them because he & them had loyalty to the same country (other than Iraq), the press (from Al-Arabiya Channel) chased them to interview them to know why they were caught & released...so they had to kill the poor female TV host & her photographer...right there on site!

I have lived most of my life in Iraq!

How come I didn't come across this thread before??

Anyways, I have seen the report on tv about these poor orphans. Their state was devastating, but I'm just grateful that the soldiers found them in time. I hope the caretaker and the two ladies get caught and even if they didn't they'll be punished one way or the other...karma my friends. The thing that disgusted me most is that the two ladies took photos infront of the kids, which means they clearly knew the state of the children and didn't care less. May they burn in hell. Anyways I'm happy the kids were found and are being well taken care of :-)

I am so sorry for the tragedy of your cousin's family but what do you want to say/prove? If you think that it's not an individual crime like any other crime in any other country, then you have to elaborate more so we can discuss the special circumstances, if ever.

As for the main topic, well I have commented on that. I don't know what more do you want me to say!

As I have mentioned many times before, I AM NOT RELIGIOUS & I have NEVER elevated my discussions with the people here to the level of religious differences between people. I do respect your KARMA & the beliefs of all other people, and I think that every human in the world has the right to practice what they believe in. If you can get me a signed document from the management of this site that we can discuss religions, provided that they dont block me, then I will happily discuss the issue with you.

Why do you think I got angry from what you said? I think that the answer to that question lies in the answer of this question: who is the "someone that professes their race's superiority above others"?

1) A three state solution (sunnis, shittes and kurds)

2) United Nations peace keeping Force

3) As the majority in iraq is shiite so let iran take control of peace keeping

4) Islamic Force

5) Kill the clerics inciting violence and disarm the mehdi militia

Again, and after my experience with some of the limited brains in this website, I have doubts if we are allowed to discuss such issues (politics) on this site. I think somebody would bark:"I don't think this is the place to discuss this issue. Qatari please block him" and qatari would go directly to lock the thread and block me.

Iraqis all know, deep inside them that, in general, Iraq, and its "naughty" people, can only be controlled by a dictator with an iron fist. We can all see what is happening in Iraq since 2003 when the people were granted "freedom & democracy".

The man was controling the country amazingly that america, with all its latest technolgy in weapons/sattelites, is still claiming that "terrorist" are entering Iraq from Iran, Syria, Jordan, Saudi...etc., while the man had not a single sattelite, but yet not allowed anyone to enter.

Also in his time, there was no Sunni Muslim or Shiaet Muslim. The guy was fair & not even religious. The stories you hear are fabricated just like they fabricated that he used chemical weapons on his people & that he had weapons of mass destruction.

As for human rights, well we were not worse than others, and I wish you can ask the Kurds (who are claiming for an indepandant country within Iraq now) ask them about the amount of freedom & human rights they have in Turkey. Actually the Turkish army has been entering Iraq tens of times during the years to chase Kurds & kill them while the whole world is watching/blessing. (It is OK for Turkey because it has superb relations with Israel, but not OK for Saddam to fight the Kurds because he is an enemy of Israel)

We were safe in our homes/streets/shops in his time. If you are not into politics, your safe.

He had 20 palaces? Who doesnt from the leaders around him? I think that his worst point is the amount of pressure/hunger he put on the people. We could have more wealth if the money was managed wisely. But look at us now! It is poverty in the "new, free" Iraq.

I mostly liked the man for his words. Sometimes you witness very frustrasing and bitter things that go on in Palastine for example. At those moments you feel that you have some words inside you, you want to say them to the whole world to express yourself. This man goes on public & says them

I never mentioned you in my post so why do you go spitting your venom again? Were you hurt with what I said? Good!!! You're human after all!

Name calling won't do you any good...

BTW, since you forced me to...my cousin was raped and murdered in Baghdad Iraq about 5 years ago. Her husband was killed trying to save her. Their kid was never found...to think that my cousin's husband worked for a rich Iraqi national. And to think my cousin and her husband are pure Muslims.

Is that the one of the basis of your race superiority? But I have no hatred in my heart, because I believe in "KARMA".

Imagine the shock of my parents when they found out that I went to an arab country/state, fearing I'd end up like my cousin.

Did you read the main topic? It's your race's children...tell me what's fair?

Please read another thread here "another sad story" wherein a Filipina helper found dead in her room...

You are always entitled to your own opinion, lets discuss topics w/o using nasty words, lets be diplomatic! if someone disrespect you and insult you w/ his swearing words, just show to him that you are a respected man and NOT as stupid as he is! the moment you throw back w/ the same & worst swearing language, you just proved to him that you are in the same & worst level than him, correct?

And yes, i agree w/ you that situations are getting worst in your country. Worst than the time of the regime! But its not acceptable for you to hate the invaders whole race!

Another thing, try to avoid this phrase

"Ärabs are your Masters!", i could understand you saying this out of your anger to hurt those people who insulted you. But these is totally wrong & untrue! coz we are all equal in the eyes of our creator.

I believe that this is a very ugly crime against helpless human beings, committed by some ruthless people (the orphanage ward & his aids). They are the No.1 people who should be punished...but they are not alone.

Some of you were wondering why is this happening and why is this happening in the middle east?

Well I don't know if such an issue (which is considered political) is allowed to be discussed here or is it only MY issues that are considered a taboo?

Anyway, since they let you talk about the issue, and since you are asking the questions, then I might as well provide the answers... from my point of view.

First I would like to add that it is not only these crimes that are happening in the middle east. We still have Palastine & Lebanon.

I think this is all part of a big plan. I can't forget what happened to that Palastinean little boy Mohammed Al-Durra, nor I can forget the amount of women & children killed during the past years in Lebanon from Israeli bombing/airplanes. But in our case here, and since the country is occupied/invaded, then the invader is responsible for evrything that happens in the country. If I hijack a plane then I am responsible for everything that happens in the plane after my kighjacking even if a man decided to rape a woman (for example) taking advantage of him being locked with her in the WC. If I have locked them there, then I have prepared the grounds for the rape & I didnt use my power to prevent it from happening.

A friend/fellow citizen who is from a diffrent muslim group than mine, and who is against Saddam, and who knows how much I love Saddam, and who lives in the States, wrote to me saying that some of the media in the States have mentioned that: "at least such things didn't happen in Saddam's regime".

So I conclude that the invaders are also responsible for this crime. I can't say for sure that they are using this to erase the memory of their torturing of my people in their prisons. I can't say that they are mercyless people no matter how many orphans they save. I could be very wrong in my speculations even though they are the only nation that used atomic bombs. But I know that since they are there, lots of fishy things going on like bombing historical mosques. Something that Iraqis are not used to do..nor any arab.

I don't want to tell you strange stories such as a friend of mine who was killed with a bullet in his head the next day after he went to the police telling them that his car was parked in the street at night & he saw soldiers from the invading country planting a bomb in his car. Next day they came & took the car, and he got a bullet in the head!

Do I need to continue or did we have enough? This can go on forever, you know.

I like to add that I was blocked from logging in the site & I had to register again in order to comment & reply your messages. This is a solid proof that the management of this website is totally unfair and lacks the courage to face different opinions. This management has done everything it can to shut me up & erase my words claiming that I am not abiding by the "guidlines" while $L*T$ like azilana are allowed to call people names like "JACKA$$". And she claims that it is the "mother mode" that is making her use such language in public. Well now I can imagine what kind of mothers some people have & what education they are giving to their breed.

As for you Alexa, I thank you for your sympathy with those kids and I assure you that the even our "CHICKEN" are braver than your bravest men (if you ever have men)

To all the rest, I thank you for your concern & sympathy. I do respect you. I may not be able to reply you later as this "free" website will block me again.

By drake• 22 Jun 2007 11:35

I thought this was the most disturbing. This is price over people at its abolute worst:

The soldiers found kitchen shelves packed with food and in the stockroom, rows of brand-new clothing still in their plastic wrapping.

Instead of giving it to the boys, the soldiers believe it was being sold to local markets.

The man in charge, the orphanage caretaker, had a well-kept office — a stark contrast to the terrible conditions just outside that room.

"I got extremely angry with the caretaker when I got there," Capt. Benjamin Morales said. "It took every muscle in my body to restrain myself from not going after that guy."

When society crumbles it's always the women and children who suffer the most, and the orphans most of all. :(

dont you feel that everything we fuss about in our everyday life is nothing compared to what we have seen in this photos.normally we would fuss about what to eat, drink, bad hair day, losing weight, putting on weight, looking pretty and the list goes on. ofcourse alhamdullilah we are blessed to be able to think about all such things, and then you see such photos and wonder the meaning of everything.

it makes us all so shallow actually, for that moment.
