Temporary Driver's License

My husband is under family visit visa. He would like to apply as a driver but companies usually require qatar driver's license.Is it possible for him to have a driving license?some say there is a temporary driving license which he can use for the meantime.How and what are the requirements?

You must go with your husband to madina khalifa. There are some translators there who charge QR10.00 for a letter stating that you have no objection to your husband having a licence and that you will be responsible for him. Then the normal eye test & photos and his existing licence.

The application process is then normal and he will get a 3 month license. This has to be then converted when he gets his RP. Cost is about QR 200.00

How ever no existing licence then you cannot get the temporary license
