Basically it is a term used to tell Labor class people "you can't enter" in a nice way.

Why? Because this whole country is Racist and people know it and they are too shameless to do something about it.

Hitting on women? No. Qatari men hit on women the most and I dare anyone to tell me otherwise.

Dirtying the place? No, These poor guys are too scared to even throw a piece of paper because of the amount of bullying they get.

Good Job Qatar, keep hiding facts and spread the hypocrisy around because the rest of the world is too stupid to get it.

This makes me sick and angry when I think of it!.. Urghhhhhhh

It will be okey if they make family day any other day expect Friday, as most of these labours, and small scale salaried bachelors having off day only on Friday.

"bachelors" are only Asians.

If a White man or Qatari man enters the mall alone, no security guards has the guts to question him or stop him.

So what is the point ?

Can we change the concept "Non-Asian Family Day".. ?????

You're right this is the only country that has such rules. I found most of Qatari's more educated than other GCC country but they are the only one who have a Family Day Racist Rule. I really felt bad for ASIANS who are the only one affected. We went into some Malls here in Doha during EID and I felt bad for the Asian Bachelors not being allowed to enter. This madness should stop.

"tatay" we cannot say that this is to minimized window shopping because families do not buy, they just roaming on the mall..maybe its better if they will change it to "family park day" because families are making it as a park, and i think this is the real concept, to turn the malls into park during friday...ha,ha,ha, this is the only country w/ such idea....

I went to a mall on family day only once, on my first weekend here. I was so shocked when the guard said, sorry sir no bachelors. I was like its a shopping mall dude, not an exclusive night club and he just shrugged his shoulders. Saw so many guys sitting outside waiting to get in by requesting some passing girls to help them get the entry. Ofcourse nobody was stopping arabs, felt sick.

observed not only once but so many times.guard is not really implementing family day..they are looking how you look to enter the mall..i am lucky that i never encountered such racism..coz everytime i went to a mall they allow me to enter even i am alone..AND NO FAMILY.

Its not family day, it rascim day.

Qatari and white men have no problem in entering.

Maybe they should rename it,

Women and Economically well off Males Day....

This has been discussed numerous times before. Ask any woman and she would say it is a great invention. I have to agree seeing and hearing reactions from Bachelors when my wife walks past them in the malls
