IS THIS TATTOO MUCH?

OK.. I'm all for tattoos, but is this taking it to the limit ?

Would you want a tattoo / Have you got a tattoo ?

If so, what would it be and why ?

A MUM celebrated her divorce by getting her new boyfriend to cover her entire body in a tattoo.

Jacqui Moore, 41, was so happy to be free from her ex she spent eight years getting 85 per cent of her flesh inked.

Her left armpit, half her right leg and most of her face have been left bare.

But they will also be included in the full-body artwork when she gets more etchings done next year.

Mum-of-two Jacqui, from Oxford, said her eldest daughter Kristi, 21, was not too keen on her tattoos.

Jacqui added: "Lots of people treat me differently. Some are very nice while I get a lot of funny looks from other people. Some people even tell me I look disgusting.

"But I am proud of my body, I see it as a work of art. "I love seeing my body change every time Curly tattoos me. It's an incredible journey of self-discovery.

"My employers respect my art and are happy for me to continue with my project."

Please be careful when gettig a tattoo..

A man convicted of murder in Florida has been captured in western Colorado after spending 32 years on the run.

The U.S. Marshals Service said officers took Barrett into custody after identifying him by a tattoo on his hand

Some of my rider friends in the US told me it was a US thing - spiders web on the elbow meant you did jail time for popping someone :-(But yeh I heard tats around the elbow hurt like a mf, the one on my arm took about 4 odd hours, but I did it in 2 sittings, kinda hurt in some areas, but I think I was on vals :-)

Isn't that a spider web in the fleshy area between you thumb and finger?  It's a Russian thing isn't it? Perhaps a couple of tears next your eyes Colt. :)

I'm going to get a spiders web on my elbow, but kinda re-thinking about that one, coz I only recently got to know that a tat like that means that I've been n jail for murdering someone :-(

She does look disgusting with those tattoos. I know a woman who's boyfriend was very fond of tattoos. Her tattoos had various traffic like signals poiting to her body parts. She separated from her partner, has a child out of wedlock and now has to make a lot of effort to cover those tattoos.

Well HGL, tattoos that can be easily hidden are suitable for any profession, it's the one's that are obivous where it can be a bit tricky.  Without a doubt there are professional people out there with obvious tattoos, but they probably face a lot of discrimination because of them. My friend, for example, is a hair dresser who owns her own very funky and trendy salon, so her tattoo's just fit with everything she does. However, if she were a kindergarden teacher, they might not fit so well. :)

extrem care should be taken; there is very high risk getting bad infections, and delayed skin reaction. So be 100% sure that Tatoo is done by a certified professional that garantee sterilisation of tools, and the use of tested tatoo's materials.

best wishes to all

For some a tattoo is their trademark an image that captures a key part of their personality or interests. Tattoos can also be tributes a commemoration or memorial to loved ones or specific events. Whatever the reason for getting a tattoo, one thing is certain: THINK BEFORE YOU INK!hmm...i really love the idea of getting a tattoo but maybe a hena tattoo will do..lolz

Pilgram... I am not sure, may be some (crazy ones) out there in those professions...:)

Myself being not in tatoos, am actually interested to know the relation between lifestyle and tatoos to whomever it may be considered as suitable say something like which professions would it go well with or can be considered to go well with. Just my inquisitiveness, not  looking for a debate or arguement about someone being right or wrong.
