Suitable QL Post

I like some things, do you like some things too?
Please lets's discuss and make this the best and quintessential QL posting
But don't be specific as it may offend.
Make sure to point out that other countries have things too, not just Qatar.

I'll start:
I like some things that are not too this and not too that......just about right things. I shudder from bad things and pretend they don't exist, though I hear there are many such bad things in numerous countries someplace else; but here everything is nice.

I like nice things.

I feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Things, eh! What would we do without them?

Are the QL points just like the Qmiles/Airmiles/Nojoom??

I wonder :)

Just an innocent question..... Was the Op on a High when he posted this? :)

I can't stand this THING anymore..

I need to get something off my chest ..

The world today seems absolutely crackers,

With nuclear bombs to blow us all sky high.

There's fools and idiots sitting on the trigger.

It's depressing and it's senseless, and that's why...

I like Chinese.

I like Chinese.

They only come up to your knees,

Yet they're always friendly, and they're ready to please.

I like Chinese.

I like Chinese.

There's nine hundred million of them in the world today.

You'd better learn to like them; that's what I say.

I like Chinese.

I like Chinese.

They come from a long way overseas,

But they're cute and they're cuddly, and they're ready to please.

I like Chinese food.

The waiters never are rude.

Think of the many things they've done to impress.

There's Maoism, Taoism, I Ching, and Chess.

So I like Chinese.

I like Chinese.

I like their tiny little trees,

Their Zen, their ping-pong, their yin, and yang-ese.

I like Chinese thought,

The wisdom that Confucious taught.

If Darwin is anything to shout about,

The Chinese will survive us all without any doubt.

So, I like Chinese.

I like Chinese.

They only come up to your knees,

Yet they're wise and they're witty, and they're ready to please.

All together.

[verse in Chinese]

Wo ai zhongguo ren. (I like Chinese.)

Wo ai zhongguo ren. (I like Chinese.)

Wo ai zhongguo ren. (I like Chinese.)

Ni hao ma; ni hao ma; ni hao ma; zaijien! (How are you; how are you; how are you; goodbye!)

I like Chinese.

I like Chinese.

Their food is guaranteed to please,

A fourteen, a seven, a nine, and lychees.

I like Chinese.

I like Chinese.

I like their tiny little trees,

Their Zen, their ping-pong, their yin, and yang-ese.

I like Chinese.

I like Chinese.

They only come up to your knees...

One person's thing is different to another person's thing. There is no universal thing. There's just things.

doesn't have many redeeming features.

But on a larger point you are right, nomerci; things are just things, and aren't we all the happier for it!

One should not categorize things as good and bad...things are just that...things.

'They jar something deep inside, allowing him/her to grow.'

Hmmmmm.....profound; 'jars', I keep many things in jars

By FathimaH• 3 Mar 2013 22:21

One never knows when one's preference and concept of what constitutes as good things may change!

By britexpat• 3 Mar 2013 22:21
britexpat

A person needs new experiences. They jar something deep inside, allowing him/her to grow. Without change something sleeps inside us, and seldom awakens.

I like somethings too and then those other things that I may not like and would then like them to be taken care of and suggest so but since these things may be bad elsewhere, I tend (forced) to like them or else I may not be able to like them cos I may be asked to leave. So yeah, finally I like everything.
