Strange woman.

THE bank cashier who put a cat in a wheelie bin should lose her job, demanded RBS customers yesterday.

Mary Bale, a 45-year-old spinster, is the target of a hate campaign after CCTV film of her mistreating the cat appeared on YouTube.

Yesterday police escorted her to the Royal Bank of Scotland in Rugby for a meeting with her manager.

Customer Barry Morgan, 58, said: “It’s shocking when somebody you think leads a respectable life does something like this when she thinks nobody’s looking.”

And Kim Davis, 53, added: “I’d never be served by this despicable woman again.” Miss Bale fears she will be sacked but RBS has so far refused to comment. The cat, Lola, was trapped in the bin in Coventry, West Midlands, for 15 hours.

Miss Bale said she thought it would be “funny”. The RSPCA is considering whether to press charges.

what all the fuss is about - top cat lived in a trash bin for years and no one complained!

cat is better than the woman involved? Just to learn a lesson? Pressing charges to the woman?

Maybe putting the woman in a trash bin for 12 hours will satisfy the animal lovers?

One mistake can't be solved by high emotions and definitely one mistake will not meant an end of life for someone. It seems that minds of some people are gearing toward this!

Funny you should mention that.. Rumour has it that the Americans have been forcing Iraqi soldiers to give up Umm Ali and start eating Mom's Apple Pie.. This is the first step to moving the country away from the eating habits of the Bathist regime and towards Western junk food..

Western media just cannot win...

I noticed on the "Sri Lankan lady nail" thread someone commented on the cat thing and that the relevant topic wasn't in the press....

So, report on Sri Lankan maids and guarenteed someone will not be happy that the west is pointing out bad things about the east.

Don't report on it and instead focus on things closer to home and that gets lambaste too...

Literally the west is damned if it does, and damned if it doesnt...

Oryx, Yes I value my car than a silly cat for sure.

Because one invest a lot of their hard earned money in it.

And God created these animals so that they can take care of themselves. It is humans behaving like animals by making animals their pets and not letting them live their life.

Wow big anger management issues!

So you value your car more than one of god's creatures....

sad person sad....

And don't forget human are animals and from what I have humans make a far bigger mess of the planet than cats.

Its just that almost all threads on here end up going down that road - and it is tiresome. I could start a thread asking how best to bake apple pie and it would end up being about some conflict.

What is wrong with her action?. She just put the cat in its right place. what about hundreds of cats finding its living from litter bins all around Doha?. I hate these silly beasts because it climbs on my car and making a mess the very night after I had a 40QR car wash. Why don't the so-called animal lovers in Doha take these animals to their home and look after them as their children?.

When it came to an animal all are hurt very much.....have any of you considered what has happened to many Human Beings treated worse that that in many countries? Your voices have never been heard for that???

i dont like cats, dogs or anything with more legs than me infact, but i know people who treat their pets like their children so i suppose people have a right to react angrily. Having said that sacking her is a bit harsh!

cats are cute sun, all humans aren't :(

So being cruel to a cat causes worldwide outrage and being cruel to humans doesn't even get a raised eyebrow. What a fcuked up world I live in.
