Sponsoring a newborn by mother.......

Hello,

Yes, it is possible to sponsor a newborn by his/her mother for two years. But the father of the child should not be a resident of Qatar.
If the father is in Qatar, the child must be sponsered by his/her father itself.

In ur case, its not clear whether ur husband is still in qatar or not.
Apart from that, who was the sponsor of the child till date? If the child was on his/her father's sponsorship, his/her visa will automatically expire when father's visa expires.

If the child is just a born one, and the father is not in Qatar, u can sposor ur child without any problems.

Remember, the penalty for an expired visa holder is QR-350/day.
