To effectively change things, it needs to be planned and implemented through proper channels, going against the law will get you nowhere. Things dnt change overnight, the fact that its documented and discussed extensively is a step in the right direction.

I have heard from my designer when I tell him to stay past 5 for some important project. I don't get overtime so I won't stay.

A lot of underpaid people in this part of the world. That's why you see majority of the projects being delayed.
i am sorry ...but i still think the minimum wage as per goverment regulations is 1500, some companies just dont follow rules..
Majority of Labor Class are getting only QR-600/- BB...hope it goes up to the limit what you mentioned... :-)
