Actually everything carries a one-year warranty in Qatar (food excluded), although several manufacturers offer five-year international warranties. (Hard drives, for example). But you won't get that in Qatar, only if you pay extra. It's then called "extended warranty". But it's a fraud, because the shop gets a five-year warranty, but it isn't handed down to the customer. In other countries it would be a nice court case, in Qatar it's normal.

If you have a warranty card, you can get the battery replaced even by the manufacturer or its agent in Doha. Usually, car batteries carry a one-year warranty from the date of purchase.

I bought a car battery from them and within 7 months, it is dead!!! so i wanted to contact them as this is still under guarantee.
