Someone tell me what's the deal

With all the QL knockoff sites. I'll refrain from naming them since it would be indirect advertising and I rather like the chaps that run this one, they've been very kind so far, but I can count at least 3 and they're ripoffs of this one to a T. Of course the only one with any activity is the one where the rabid admin starts almost every discussion (pretty sad when you see the desolation of replies to topics, looks like a fancy mall with no stores, the place time forgot) and one of them is even a blogspot site with links (can anyone spell C H E A P S K A T E)...pretty funny if you ask me. Couldn't any of these geniuses start special interest websites instead? I mean, is this the best they can do? Copy a portal and it's forum so blatantly that they had to put up the exact same sub-forums?
Reminds me of a bad, ancient muslim tradition that exists in my country too. Don't ever put shops selling the same wares around town! Stick 'em all down the same alley so nobody prospers!
Buying a Land Cruiser is a no-brainer here, if you got the cash, get one. Yankees are guilty of that too with their Ford F-150's, although that's history now because of the meltdown, but what's the purpose of making X number of websites that depend on user participation to create repeat visits when they are EXACTLY the same? I know someone smelt the ad-money but are they that sad? That short of creative thinking? I'd gladly counsel them (for free too, I'm that charitable) on what they could do online and what would be a surefire hit without them having to be such plagiarizing vagrants...in the end they wasted their time and efforts in rather vain ways methinks...
that everyone copies each other,,,,lack of individuality??
Does "Land Cruiser" come to mind?
:)
