SKYPE NEWS / UPDATE

The Skype problem being experienced in Qatar at the moment is not restricted to Q-Tel and Qatar users alone. It appears as if the greed of making money is being applied in the UAE as well.

This article was in the Gulf News of Dubai.

Q-Tel has done this before in the past as well.

Good Luck

sa-japie,

I'm not able to open the link you provide. It will not hurt if you paste the link-content to the body message in addition to the link...please? :).

Thankyou,

can anyone say VPN?

Even though it technically slows down internet it still fixes Skype.

This is why my attraction to Qatar is waning right now, apart from the weather, its the out right greed, lazyness and stupidity of the people that is really starting to get on my nerves.

Typical Qtel its not enough they have a monopoly they have to do this.

And don't get all excited about competition, in UAE the so called competition for the telecomms provider turned out to be an of shoot of etisalat, Run by the same twats running the first one.

Same censorship if not worse on the proxy etc etc.
